Steve Duff grew up in the small midwest town of Monroe, Ohio. 1 of 4 boys, he fondly recalls the bicycle paper route that he and his brothers worked together for many years (even writing a computer program to help with collections!) One of the first from his high school to attend an Ivy League university, Steve completed a rigorous theoretical computer science program at Cornell. Throughout the summers, Steve worked as an intern in the Systems Management Division at P&G which led to a full-time job after graduation.
Five years at P&G provided Steve with a world of practical experience in everything from hands-on information systems development to project and people management. Although P&G was great, the appeal of directly affecting a customer's bottom-line and quickly producing results was enough to make Steve leave the safe environment of a large corporation and start off on his own.

In 1998, Steve formed his own consulting company and began to create a loyal base of clients based on his reputation for providing fast, effective technology solutions. Steve was surprised to discover that one of his most-valued qualities was communication. Apparently, the reason so many IT consulting companies fail is because their initial assessment and understanding of what the client actually needs is not accurate and so the delivered end product is not in agreement with what the client was hoping for.
Based on his success with consulting, Steve decided to try something new and created a second company to produce professional video biographies for everyday people. The idea was to make it easy for a family to record stories of Mom and Dad using modern technology. The bundle of services was called a Life Capsule and to-date Steve's company has produced more than 100 films for people across the United States. It's been a lot of fun!
Today, Steve has come to the realization that most people really just want to hire a person that they trust will do a good job. That's why his name is the company. Because he always does his very best and stands behind the work that he does. You can trust Steve to always be truthful and honest in every situation and to always provide services in the same way that he would want it if he were on the other side of the partnership.
Most of Steve's first clients are still with him today. That says a lot for his reputation, the importance he places on each project to be done well, and the long term value of his contributions. Today Steve lives in Terrace Park, Ohio, married to his high school sweetheart of 24 years, and together they are happily raising two wonderful children.
